1 stick margarine or butter

1/2 c. milk

10 chic k e n breast ha l ves, deboned

10 slices S wiss chee s e

1 can cre a m of chic k e n soup

1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing

mix (sm.)



Place ch i c k e n b r east in large fl a t baking dish.   Sprin k le with salt and pepper

(salt spar i ngly).   Place 1 slice of cheese on top of each breast.   Mix can of

soup with 1/2 cup milk and pour over chic k e n.   Melt mar g arine or butter and mix with dressing mix and spread o v er chicken.   Bake at 325 degrees uncovered for 1 1/2 hours.

1 frying chicken (2 1 / 2-3 lbs.), cut up

1/2 lb. bacon

4 med. potatoes, pa re d

1 lg. onion, thinly sliced

1 tsp. poultry seasoning

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. black pepper

1/2 c. cho p ped shallots, green onions or sliced onions

2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley



1. Wash and dry chicken.   In Dutch oven, fry bacon u ntil crisp.   Remove bacon.   Add chicken, browning well on all sides.   Remove to a 2 quart
