CHICKEN CASSE RO LE

 

 

 

 

 

1 (2-2 1/2 lbs.) chicken, boiled and off bo n e

1 can cre a m of mushroom soup

1 can cre a m of chic k e n soup

1 (8 oz.) sour cream

1 (8 oz.) Cheez Whiz

1 stick butter or margarines

1 1/2 sleeves of Ritz crackers or saltines

Poppy seeds

 

 

Put bite size pieces of chicken in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan.   Mix the soups

(undiluted), the sour cream, and the C h eez Whiz together in medium sized

bowl.   Put this mix on top of chick e n.   Spr i nkle poppy seeds over soup mixture.   Melt stick of butter.   Crush cr a ckers.   Mix together, then sprinkle evenly over chic k e n c asserole.   Bake in 350 degree o ven for 20-30 minutes,

until bubb l y and brown.   S e rves 6.   This is a family favorite!
