1 c. sliced mushrooms

1 can Cam p bel l 's cre a m of broccoli

soup

1/3 c. milk

1/8 tsp. pepper

 

 

1. In skillet over medium heat, in 1 t a blespoon hot margarine, cook chicken 10 minutes or until browned on bo t h sides.   Remove chicken; k e ep warm.   2. In same skillet, in remaining margarine, cook broccoli, carrots a n d mushrooms 5 minutes, stirring often.   Stir in soup, milk and peppe r .   Heat to boiling.   3. 20 MINUTE CHICKEN PARMESAN

 

 

 

 

 

4 boneless and skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)

1 egg, slightly beaten

1/2 c. seasoned bre a d crumbs

2 tbsp. margarine or butter

1 3/4 c. Prego spaghetti sauce

1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

1 tbsp. grated Parmesan chee s e

1/4 c. cho p ped fresh parsley

 

 

Using palm of hand f l atten chi c ken to even thick n ess.   D i p chicken into egg then into crumbs to coat.   In skill e t over m edium heat, in hot margarine, brown c h i c ken on both sides.   Add Prego sauce.   Reduce heat.   Cover; simmer

10 minutes.   Sprink l e with chee s es a n d parsley.   Cover; simmer 5 minutes or until chee s e melts.   4 servings.
