Brown chi c ken in sma l l amount lard with onion, add s e asoning and spice, cook slow turning not to stick or burn until done.

1 whole ch i cken, cut u p

1 (8 oz.) sour cream

1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles

 

 

Cut chicken into serving pieces - place in a casserole large eno u gh to hold chicken c o mfortably.   Combine sour cream, mushr o om soup a n d onion soup mix.   Spread the soup mixture over c h icken.   Cover with chow mein noodles

and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
