Cook chic k en b r easts until done.   Whi l e c h i cken is co o king, prepare the

stuffing according to package directions.   When ch i cken is done, cut in t o

bite-sized pieces and place in c a sserole dish.   Add cream of ch i cken soup,

wine and w ater.   Mix.     Sp r e ad the pre p a r ed stuffing on top.   Bake in oven at

350 degrees for 30 minutes.   This fre e zes well and can be p r epared ahead without baking.   Bake after freezing and prior to serving.   Serves 6.

CHICKEN IN WINE

 

 

 

 

 

6 chicken breast halves, skinless

1 can whole white on i ons

1 can cre a m of mushroom soup

1/4 c. sherry

1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated

 

 

Place chicken in baking dish.   Mix soup and sherry.   Pour over chicken.   Grate cheese over top.   Bake covered f o r 45 minutes and uncover for 45 minutes

at 350 degrees.
